Well folks it looks like all the IRL stuff that had come up just kinda worked itself out, and now I'm back. I will start back with more gold making posts in the next day or so. It's good to be back and hopefully we can get right back on track to making gold.

I'm actually very sorry to say it but my time as a gold blogger has come to an end. I am quitting World of Warcraft and will not be returning do to some IRL situations that have arisen. I enjoyed the game immensely and even more so helping others get gold, but alas my time is up. Thanks everyone for everything and happy gold hunting in the future.

I'm going to talk today about something that seems to have been completely forgotten about by a large number of players. Today we're gonna discuss essence swapping. In WoTLK I can't even begin to tell you how much gold I made by essence swapping. If you read the flavor text of any enchanting essence (ie. Greater Celestial Essence) you will see that they can turn into smaller, or greater essences depending on which state they are currently in. Greater Celestial Essence will swap into 3 Lesser Celestial Essence, and vice versa. So what's the big deal? The big deal is that many many times, one of the two types of essences is severely under priced.

I just caught this bit of news from the blue post "Ask The Devs" on mmo-champion. One of the questions was whether or not Chaos Orb would ever become BoE and the answer was absolutely yes in an upcoming patch. This just speeds up tomorrows post which was to run heroics and stock as many orbs as possible due to all the new recipes in 4.2 having to use 5 of them. While the exact "future patch" is not yet known I have a very strong feeling it will be 4.2 since all these recipes do require so many of them. If this is the case, you will definitely want to get a good jump on the market right now and go ahead and start saving them up, as they'll probably fetch quite a bit of gold to begin with, just like Primordial Saronite did back in WoTLK. Save now and make bank later, that's my tip of the day.

I never intended for my post from yesterday to turn into a part 2, but after a data run last night I had to include this as well. Yesterday I told you that you needed to start saving up your Volatile Earth for the new recipes that are coming in 4.2. Well it just so happens that my JC daily yesterday was the Elemental Goo quest. In this quest you have to collect Goo that drops from any of several elementals. The best place to complete this achievement is in Mount Hyjal just outside of where you get ported to (literally take the port then walk forward 30 feet and you can't miss it). There are tons and tons of Scalding Rock Elemental here that have a near instant respawn rate and only 31k hp, making them quick kills. The reason this ties into yesterdays post is that these elementals also have a 9% drop rate of Volatile Earth.

I'm going to start off with some advice on something you should start stockpiling now so you don't end up missing out when the next patch hits. Mageshadow over at JustMyTwoCopper has already posted that you should start stocking up on Truegold because all the new BS and Engineering recipes call for 8 each. Well he hit the nail right on the head but he did also miss something.

I'm going to try to have something posted every day and hope you all will join me in my adventures in gold making!
